WSP Finland is awarded for bridge design in Vietnam
WSP Finland Company is the Embassy of Finland in Vietnam nominated as innovative company of 2015 in relation toFinland – Vietnam. Ambassador Kimmo Lähdevirta awarded recognition at a ceremony held in Helsinki, FinlandTuesday June 17, 2015.
This annual award is given to an individual or a company whose innovative contributions to sustainable relations between Finland and Vietnam. Embassy of Finland in Hanoi company WSP Finland has chosen to award this project because of the successful bridge design and innovative in the different localities of Vietnam.
WSP Finland is a multidisciplinary consulting firm providing services in the field of sustainable construction, consultancy, survey and design. The basic services of the company include Urban Design, Building, Industry and Bridge. WSP Finland under the global WSP Group Parsons Brinckerhoff, with 31,000 employees and more than 500 offices in 39 countries worldwide. In 2014, sales of 29 million euros WSP Finland, while the group’s total revenue Parsons Brinckerhoff WSP reached $ 5.2 billion.
For over 20 years, WSP Finland has been involved in many projects, including bridge projects. The company has designed Binh Bridge (completed in 2005) and Rao II Bridge (completed in 2012) in Hai Phong, the beautiful Tran Thi Ly Bridge in Da Nang (2013), and now, WSP Finland Ongoing project Thu Thiem Bridge II in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Kimmo Lähdevirta said “over the years, WSP Finland has made very valuable contributions to the relations between Finland and Vietnam. The Creation of northern Europe as well as the point respect for local circumstances made extremely practical beauty. the way WSP Finland collaborate with partners Vietnam has become an outstanding example for the know-how and collaboration, and this obviously beneficial to both parties ”
Representative Award is Ms. Kirsi Hautala WSP, Chief Executive Officer and Mr. Pekka Pulkkinen, Regional Director. In a ceremony today, Mrs Hautala said: “This award is a great honor WSP Finland. We are very happy that the company’s success in Vietnam has been recognized, and this is a land countries in which we have operated for many years, and now there are many interesting projects. ”
